We want to help you attend the 2019 Govern for Impact conference..
The Govern for Impact Young Professionals Scholarship Fund is designed to support young professionals interested in effective governance principles and education. It is administered by Govern for Impact and is designed to encourage international participation by alleviating some of the costs associated with attending the annual conference.
Attending our yearly conference is a chance for young people to learn about best governance practices from established leaders in the industry and to create individual and collective momentum through sharing their insights and ambitions.
Applicants will be considered based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to): financial need, distance required to travel in order to attend the summit, level of governance related interest and involvement.
Successful applicants will be notified of their award on or before April 30, 2019.
Here’s what two previous scholarship recipients said about their experiences:
It was a truly eye-opening experience – and I met many phenomenal people from all around the world. Our generation is faced with so many challenges and attending this conference enabled me to learn how I, as a young governance professional, can facilitate positive change in the organizations I support. – Missy Chareka
Attending the conference as a scholar and member of IYGP was an incredible experience that broadened my perspective in many ways. It equipped me with useful tools to effectively encourage young participation on boards, and inter-generational knowledge exchange. I was able to widen my network, and learnt loads from talented people who were willing to share their knowledge. – Amanda Moreira
The Govern for Impact conference is a great opportunity for your organisation to reach out and engage with the next generation of leaders in corporate and non-profit governance and there are a variety of opportunities for sponsorship and marketing with us.
